About Saptrishi Foundation
Who We Are
Saptrishi Foundation was conceptualized after a life-changing experience of rehabilitating an orphan child with an Intellectual Disability. Navigating complex paperwork, government offices, and formalities highlighted a critical gap—a lack of a unified support system for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Guided by experience in both social work and the insurance sector, we set out to create solutions that simplify and support the lives of PwDs.
Saptrishi Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to serving underprivileged and last-mile communities. We work collaboratively withcivil society, government, philanthropic institutions, and corporates to create an impact at a large scale.
Registered under Societies Registration Act and Bombay Public Trust Act in 2017, the foundation works across key areas including disability inclusion and rehabilitation, health and education, and watershed development. Our core mission is to empower Persons with Disabilities across all aspects of life and help them live with dignity.
The COVID-19 pandemic further emphasized the need for accessible support systems. In response, we developed a digital platform and mobile application to ensure uninterrupted access to disability-related services such as AADHAR enrollment, UDID cards, welfare schemes, and free camps, bringing essential services directly to the grassroots.
Today, we remain committed to accessibility, inclusion, and empowerment—ensuring no one is left behind.
